Q. i want a japanese/chinese pop culture theme for my bedroom any websites that could give me ideas. or pics.
A. Google images search Japanese pop culture and Chinese pop culture separately. Pick the pictures you like most and check out those websites.
This guy is a great artist and his site has elements you could include in room design. www.martinhsu.com
Bold colors, strong lines, Asian characters, Asian stylized animations, fun, energetic, clean lines.
Have you ever looked at minimalistic decorating? If you trade the white walls for a bold color of your choosing then add a couple of favorite character posters or actual prints you'll be so there. Study minimalistic decorating at these websites:

what color will look good with browns?
Q. My bedroom has brown walls, two shades to match my leopard print bedding. I also have black in my room, but what color will go good with brown? i was thinking maybe a lavendar. any ideas?
A. Yes, lavendar, whether it be smoky or pale pastel, would look fantastic. In fact, that's why brown-eyes look best with eyeshadow in shades of purple.
The black in your room doesn't cause a problem, as all rooms need some black to ground it all together. Black isn't considered a color in decorating but rather, the mix of all colors so this grounds it all. White isn't considered a color either, but the absence of color. That's why both black and white match with any color under the sun (or should I say rainbow : ). I add some silver accents to brighten up the space (frames, vases, jewelry box, mirror, etc.)
That being said, brown is a neutral color. It therefore also matches with any color under the sun.
Pink could look very attractive and would soften your brown.

Yellow would bring in the sunshine but don't go too bright!

Oranges - as in burnt or soft, soft orange, would look great.

Aqua - well, aqua would be amazing. You wouldn't believe the softness and zen feeling you can get all at once.

Does anyone have any bedroom ideas/ suggestions?
Q. What color/colors and how should I paint my room???? The furniture is all white and the carpet is beige. I can't change the furniture or the carpet. I also have a bunk bed in my room. Any ideas, themes, etc? I was thinking about a sunset theme maybe, but I would love to hear some ideas.
A. Hi Aggie,
A quick search of the internet will provide you with some inspiration for your room. I will list at the bottom a couple of websites for you to browse. But, your room already has a great starting point. You may want to consider Light Blue for your walls. Choosing sand tone Bedding and Green accents. This will work well if you like a tropical theme. If you ae more-so into reds, oranges and yellow then I suggest that you paint the walls in a Light to medium yellow. Though a softer Yellow is far more restful then a Bright Yellow. You might consider a Zen like Bedroom Asian Themed wall color painted in a Sage green or light Olive Green will work best.
Black White Hot Pink Turquoise Zebra look will also work well. But it does not stand the test of time and you may outgrow that quickly. So with all that said, consider all your Theme options to point you in a Color Direction.
