Bedroom Decorating?

Q. Im 15 female, and i am aloud to have my bedroom decorated but my promlem is i have had a pink bedroom for ages now and would really like a change.

i would like two colours so that my back wall stands out more!
but what to colours will look good together?

i thought about duck egg blue with i nice browny colour?
or a nice dark purple but i don't know what colour will match it?
and i also thought about a lime greeny colour but yet again i don't no what colour will go nicely?


Oh and if you have nice ideas what bedding and accesories would look nice with them?

A. I like your idea of duck egg blue but instead of a brown wall, which will limit you on bedding, paint one wall a darker shade of that same blue. If you like the browns, you can use that in your comforter. Sometimes finding bedding that you love can inspire you too. Here are some that would look good with the blue:

Q. we have just brought a flat, our decorating ideas are:

kitchen: okey sort of colour wood with black granate work tops, accesories black and same colour wood (sounds funny but looks realy nice)
lounge: dark wood furniture with chocate brown leather sofa and matching faux brown leather accessories, cream candles rugs etc, cream and choc brown cushions
Bedroom: duck egg blue and cream with dark furniture and faux brown leather bed
bathroom: white and baby blue

Q. right so were in the middle of the whole 'moving house process' and i am TOTALLY out of ideas for the new bedroom of mine! parents have told us to decidee... so we can get them done as soon as :) but im lost! haha, at the moment ive got a black and white bedroom, white with black flowered print on one wall and in my bay window and white walls with a black carpet.. it looks very nice, but i want something different!

i like most colours really! :) id like some ideas of something cute, flowers or something, but grown up as im 17! lol, and something pretty grown up and classyy so im not going to need to decorate it again anytime soon! :)

i was thinking sort of cream and light duck egg blue and maybe chocolate brown... or like a deep cerice pink with something... but i just CANNOT deicde! haha! the bedroom is 12 foot by 9 foot! just to give you a rough idea :)

but you're going to need a bit of that chocolate brown in there or your room might look a bit wishy-washy. I would recommend a feature wall, there are some gorgeous feature wallpaper's about. Definately take a look at Laura Ashley's website because everything on there is so dainty and pretty.
