Hi I'm 17 and I just moved into my new house and my room is boring. I need to decorate it but I don't know how. My last room was a bright geen but im getting bored of that idea I want something new.

I have a pink dresser and i corner shelf for my tv my bed has drawers under it and its white with wood drawers i also have a 10 gallon fish tank that is sitting on my book case and that is also wood. My room right now is white and its boring.

My favourite colour is Red but my mom wont let me paint it red and im not allowed "wacky" colours says the lanlord so I'm at a loss. I hang out in my room alot so i want it to be fun and relaxing.

So if you have any ideas please tell me Thanks!

My 17 years old daugther just redecorated her room, She came out with a pink color skin. It was weird because she never before wanted to have a pink room. But, she chose hot Pink for 3 walls & another darker pink with a littler of purpure in one wall. She got a white bedroom set (very modern), we bougth it in Ikea & some black decor around the bedroom. She got a mostly white confortable... The room looks very moder, sophiticating, & femenine...

Okay so im decorating my bedroom and i want something that stands out from the crowd, something fresh, bright and colourful. i am a teen and a real girly girl but i don't like pink much i don't mind if its only a little bit of it but i am really not that keen, i like all bright colours. Any ideas are strongly appreciated and even better some pictures or web links! or any colours that look amazing together! please i need serious help!

You could do so many different styles with this one, you could do animals prints, Zebra print goes with about any color!
You could do the hippie/indian type one with the gold and the bright color, maybe orange since pink isn't your favorite. (Somewhat like in the second picture)
You could do the paper lanterns, They look great! different colors and different level/heights look awesome!
Adding decorations would bring it to another level.
