play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think it would be a good idea to choose a gender neutral color for the whole room, like "trusty tan" (# 6087).
You can also take a photo of your room & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.

How to organize and make a small bedroom look clean?
hannahbann
I'm a 17 yr old girl and I have the smallest room ever and it's hard keeping it looking clean. I have so much stuff haha. Most of it are books, jewelry, important paper work, clothes, magazines, etc. I don't know where to put all of them!!! Anyone else with a small room have some "tips" to keeping it clean, or do you guys know of some cool products to help organize my room? Please, I beg you it's getting bad.
Answer
Besides putting as much stuff on the walls as previous responder advised, use the heck out of zipper plastic bags.
Have a bag for each category......papers, magazines, cosmetics, meds, crafts etc. Throw the bags into a lidded storage box and pull out as needed. That way all your stuff in one category will be in one bag and not strewn all over the place. The 2 gallon size bags are just right for magazines, bills, etc. The small bags are for little stuff. Also a label maker from Walmart or Staples is a wonderful idea. Label everything and keep it in its spot.
