bedroom designs for girls pictures image

My new stepmom & I went house shopping for months & finally found the perfect house. 3 bedrooms so i could use 1 as an office for school work & get a roommate for the other so I could stop working full-time & focus on school. I would be renting from her for 2 years, & then renting-to-own once I graduated.
A lot of work had to be done in the home. My boyfriend & I agreed to paint the inside of the home to lower my deposit & 1st months rent, & she was to pay a painter to paint the outside.
The 1st time we had trouble was about $. The house was closing on August 20th, I was getting paid on the 24th & was planning on moving my things in on the 26th. We agreed weeks in advance that I would pay her on the 26th. Then suddenly on the 19th she had a bi-polar fit & told me if I didnt pay her right then she was canceling the deal & going to try to stop the purchase. I had to sell my newly purchased couches just to pay her.
The 2nd problem happened when she didnt want to pay for the painter to paint the outside. So we told her we would paint the lower 1/2, as far as we could reach with my ladder so she didnt have to pay the full amount. I did that in September. The house is STILL not fully painted 9 mnths later!
3rd incident. In December I found a roommate, a single mother to a 3-year old who was remodeling her new home & needed a room for approximately 6 mnths, which worked out perfectly. She paid 1/2 the rent & utilities, & I watched her daughter while she worked to cover part of my share. On April 25 2013, my stepmom had another bi-polar episode & came to the house making a scene & told me I was violating my lease by having a roommate. We got a 3 bedroom for the specific purpose of having a roommate to cover 1/2 the bills! & my lease says my name & "Another tenant later to be named!" So I was NOT violating anything, yet she kept threatening me with eviction. I spoke to my roommate about it & she agreed to move to save me from the drama.
Our lease also states that any repairs would be done by the "landlord." Within a few days of moving in I realized the office had a heating/cooling problem, its on average 15 degrees hotter/colder in that 1 room. Meaning if the house is 72 in the summer, the office is 87, 72 in winter = 57. Some weeks when it gets really hot or cold outside its almost unusable. This problem was never fixed after numerous complaints.
Last month the AC broke, & because the house isnt properly insulated it was staying around 83-87 degrees which meant the office was reaching over 100 degrees! Which made my computer, etc barely function.
I still watch my old roommates little girl in the home as my only income right now, which I had to take that time off because I couldnt even have her here. It took her 3 weeks to actually get some1 to come fix the AC unit, which meant I lost almost a month of income! But still never bothered with the office problem.
A week before she finally got the AC fixed I borrowed a temporary window unit for a little relief until the AC worked. She saw it on the day she came with the repairman & took pictures, later sending me texts about how it VIOLATES MY LEASE! & I might be facing eviction because "no changes are to be made to the property without written consent" which, is not even part of the lease agreement, & i only got it because she was not fulfilling her duties.
Not to mention the fact that since I was going to own the home eventually, ive also remodeled the kitchen, built a deck, installed a hot tub, etc, all of which she has come over & enjoyed. AND my home was even featured in a magazine because of all my hard work and designing!
Plus ive done numerous fixes she wouldnt fix, including all new gutters.
Last week after numerous more attempts to fix the office heating/cooling problem I finally just hired some1 myself to fix it & bought all new insulation.
This week, I received a text saying she was hiring a painter for the outside & would be raising my rent to pay for it & if I didnt agree she would evict me. Which I think is illegal.
Im dealing with a crazy person & dont know where to go from here! I want to move but im stuck in a 2 year lease & dont know what the best thing to do is. Im a good christian girl & ive been trying to handle this the right way but I cant have some1 holding my home over my head & threatening me all the time. I feel like Ive been taken advantage of. Ive done all this work to the home & spent so much time, money, & effort on it, & I feel like shes just trying to push me to leave so she can rent it out for a higher price or sell it since the value is so much higher now.
Another problem is the fact that she refuses to give me a copy of the lease. Ive been asking for a year but she keeps giving me excuses. Im afraid now that she could alter it since I refuse to pay for the painter.
So what should I do? Continue paying my regular rent & talk to a lawyer, maybe?

This is exactly why it is not a good idea to do business with friends/relatives. Too Much Drama!
My head is spinning from all the he said she said. I can't even think to comment!
Good luck tho.

How can I get a surfer style bedroom?
HollyPolly
I love brands like Fat Face, Billabong, Roxy etc. and the whole surfer look but I was wondering how to get that style in my bedroom? I've only got a tiny bedroom but I'm up for any suggestions - please add photos if you can.

I would definitely stay away from creating a too cheesy surfer room. For example, I was looking up some pictures for you and there were cheap grass skirts as the bedskirt for the bed and little tiny surfer lamps and stuffed monkeys and dolphins and stuff....cheesy. To make a gooood surfer room, I'd choose a bright color that you like for the walls or maybe two as in the picture provided below. The room below has lime green and orange but if you like other bright colors better, that'd be okay too. When you look for room examples like this, I always just use the picture as a shell and interchange my color preferences, etc. So paint the walls a bright color, I actually like the blue in the second picture provided for the walls. You'll want to keep white in your room too..the molding around the room, in the bedspread, maybe the bed frame, the dresser and anything you can really. Because you have a really bright wall, you need that white to offset it and make it more beachy and light. So chose your bedspread. There are plenty of bedspreads that are actually billabong and roxy beach spreads if you want that. You can also chose a hawaiian print theme, but I feel like that's borderline cheesy as well. If I were you, I would choose a full white bedspread in a light fabric. Choosing a completely white bedspread will also make the room and your bed feel and look bigger. It's really your preference though, as I know some people love the hawaiian print. I love the wicker in the first room provided. And I love how they painted it, but I also just love wicker plain. So if you're tight on cash or you just like the wicker not painted, just keep it like it is. Wicker just reminds me of outdoor furniture you'd have at a beach house though. I'm not sure what color your carpet is or if you have wood floors. It'd be ideal if you had wood flooring and then I'd add a straw beach mat as the rug at the foot of the bed or at the side of the bed, depending on the positioning of the bed. I'd get white lamps like the one in the first bedroom provided, the two inbetween the two beds on the nightstand. Again, I'm not sure how you are on money, but if you can afford it, I'd definitely splurge on a full sized surfboard to put somewhere in your room, behind a wicker chair or in a corner by itself. I'll provide a link to a cheaper board (in the world of surfboards it's considered very cheap.) I'd also get some beach themed decor. I like the word beach spelled out above the bed in the second picture. I also love the wood nightstand in the second bedroom, you can see the top slats of it, but I would paint it white. I was recently at Marshalls and they had extremely nice and sophisticated beach themed decor that could fill up probably two to three rooms. If you have a Marshalls by you, you should take a look there. Also, TJ Maxx. If not though, I'm sure you can find really cute beach stuff online. Even if you went to a craft store and bought a hurricane candle holder, a pillar candle, and sand and/or shells, that would be awesome to put on your nightstand. You could also buy a cheap starfish and shells online too to put around your room. The options are endless!! :) Here are all the links:
