I think decorating is easiest if we can look at a picture of a beautiful room we love and use it as a guide, don't you? Here are some links for you that have hundreds of gorgeous bedroom pictures. Some of those bedrooms are light purple/violet, and you can scroll through to find the pictures you like and save them to your computer. I'm sure you will get a lot of fabulous ideas:

Is this a good idea for a townhouse decor?

I am thinking about redoing my old fashioned town house to something more modern. I was thinking about having the whole house being black and white and then different color accents in each room.
1. Is this a good idea or does it just sound dumb?
2. What would be good accent colors there is a kitchen, living room, dinning room, guest room/ office, bathroom, and master bedroom?

Don't paint any wall black.
You can paint with grey colors.They are beautiful.
