I am buying this bedroom and it should come soon

I'm starting university and am re-doing my room.
I like to be very organised, don't like too much clutter, I'm academic, I like retro things, middle eastern things, photography, the summer, human rights, and I'm studying journalism and law.
I want a sassy, sophisticated and cultured room. A study space, head space, a place of refuge. I'm a girl btw.
I appreciate any tips! From wall colour (I may paint one feature wall) to bed cover designs, things to hang on my walls and place around my room etc etc anything!

Hi Seeker, i am re-doing my room aswell. Hehe!
I suggest that you have a hot pink, a red, or a lime green on a feature wall, and cream on the other walls. You should have a bed spread that ties in colours of accesories, and have some cushions matching those colours too. For accesories, you would want to have some candles in statement colours. Like the colours i was listing for your feature wall. Keep the furniture white, because too much cream and colours will look too full on. For a rug, have it white, to match with the furniture. The lamps will look brilliant with vibrant matching colours as the quilt.
If you want to stay organized, then i suggest going to Smiggle (or buying from their online store), because they have colours from purple to white. They are a stationery shop, which sell organizational things too. Such as magazine racks, pencil holders, little pull out drawers, and even water bottles!
Another idea for organising is to buy some shelves that can go up on the wall. Which will keep things out of the way!
I hope i helped, and good luck with your bedroom. Be sure to post a picture for us!

Finally, IKEA is a good source of information for storage and organization solutions and they have some really neat lighting options and accessory pieces. If you go to the main web-site, there is a segment where you can request an actual catalog be mailed to your home. This is the time of year to do it as their new catalog comes out in June. I find it to be a great source of information/ideas, even if I am not able to purchase from them.
Good luck, happy planning & I hope this helps. Have fun with it.
