I am now 18, and I want a new bedroom.
Can somebody tell me how to design a beautiful teenage bedroom for a girl?
Answer
First, you have to decide what kind of themes you like. Think of something like; fresh, or beach, or gothic, or anything.
Then you can start to pick elements that represent it, such as: colour, materials, ornaments, etc.
Pick those elements that suits your needs and the themes. You can make a contrast by each of the elements, but you don't want to have more than 3.
Example: If you want your theme to be fresh, then you want to start gathering colour elements, you can have like pale blue, coral blue, and one as contrast of navy blue. But you don't want to add one more colour like pink, because it makes harder for those element to get united.
Take your time and start exploring your ideas.

What do you think of this idea for a Young Adult novel?

Runaway teens are being kidnapped. People lure the teens away with promises of a good dinner or a place to stay for the night. They seem sincere, kind, and trustworthy - but the teens who go with them are never seen again.
Security cameras have caught a few of these incidents. The security films have been blasted all over the news on TV and the Internet, so everyone is aware of them. That doesn't stop Cilla (name to be changed) from going with them. She figures her life isn't worth anything anyway. Better the kidnappers than her maniac of a father.
They give her a decent dinner in the back of their van - and that's the last thing she remembers, because the food has been drugged.
Surprisingly, she wakes up the next morning in a beautiful bedroom, with a soft breeze coming through the open window. She looks outside and sees only a peaceful yard with gardens and trees beyond it. This doesn't seem so bad...
... she eventually finds out that she has been taken to a sort of secret campus. There is a school, but that's not even the main part of this place. She recognizes the faces of some of the missing teens that had been shown on TV. They all seem to be in good shape. They're treated very well there - but they're not allowed to leave. And they're not sure why they're being kept there.
My question: Would teens be interested in reading on?
Answer
Yes I think so, I would be. It sounds like an interesting plot. You'd have to refine it a little bit obviously, as with any book, but you've hot a really good general plot line that I think teen would like to read.
