i am a teenage girl going to repaint her bedroom.
i am thinking of a two-toned look: a dusty rose and a tan color.
possibly going with two walls rose and the rest tan.
opinions?

Beige would look best for all the wall. Decorate your bed in rose/chocolate/white. Lots of pillows in rose/pink/chocolate/beige/white in different shapes to give depth of the bedding. Hang Chocolate curtains with glitter light pink sheers in the back

-Lose clutter, this will make it seem frantic and disorganized.
-Add light fabrics, such as chiffon, satin and cotton to beds and curtains to make a luxurious but light and breezy feel.
-It doesn't have to be pink, but usually a pale colour is a good base colour. Use more than one colour, so it looks deeper and more chic, but make sure it coordinates. Pale pink and teal is always a good combination, as are pale pink/orange, pink/brown, blue/brown, lime green/magenta, pale blue/purple or magenta.
-Don't go over-board with REALLY girly things, too much fluffy pink and frills will make your room seem prissy and sickly.
-Add coordinating throws, rugs and cushions to your room, and make the bed a central point.
-Displaying jewellery in a vintage-style birdcage makes a girlie way of showing things decoratively.
-A feature wall is a good way to incorporate your coordinating colour. This could be one wall of wallpaper, a different colour, or a different coloured wall with wall stickers. But do not wallpaper all the walls, as this will make your room seems overdone and complicated, as well as making your room seem smaller.
-Painting walls in a pale colour makes the room seem brighter and girlie, as well as really opening up the space, and making it seem bigger.
