Bedroom designs Ideas. Teenage Girl.?

abber

I am digging zebra print. I have a comforter picked out but I am open to new ideas. I also need some Inspiration. So if you leave a good answer I will be a fan :)

Answer
If you have a black and white zebra comforter picked out, you need to choose another color to accent with. Pink, orange, turquoise, lime, purple, red...all look good. Paint your walls a light shade of whatever color you choose then start adding that color around your room in accents like pillows, throws, area rugs, candles, flowers, art, and lamps. I wouldn't add too much more of the zebra print, just a little here and there, to keep the bed your focal point. Here are some
pics that might help you visualize better:
You could also paint your room brown like this one if you want a more serene room:

Somethings you might want to add:

Find accent pillows and area rugs with just a little of the zebra print as a border on it, so as not to overwhelm the bed and use black or a very subtle black and white drapery.

Hope this helped. What you want to keep in mind, I think, is that too much zebra print wouldn't look good. If it's on the bed, use it sparingly around the room.

Teenage Girl Bedroom layout/design?

ChristinaK

I'm going to redecorate my bedroom. I already have a lot of pink accessories so I would like to paint my walls either pink or a soft orange. (I already have greens walls and I am really sick of them. I also can't decide whether to move my bed so that it is in the center of my wall as a focal point or against my wall to keep the space open. My room is about 13 by 12 feet. One wall (13 ft long) is completely occupied. Are there any websites with already designed layouts?

I don't want to have to redecorate my room again for several years so I dont' want it to be something that I will get sick of easily. Thanks!

Answer
if i were you i wouldn't paint my room the pink because then it would sem like your room is just full of pink maybe the soft orange or even a light yellow or a light blue would look good with the pink. the orange seems like a color you might get sick of soon if its too bright. if you lean towards lighter colors they'll calm you down and you won't get a headache every time you enter your room. i don't know of any websites but i hoped this helped you and good luck =]
