I am redecorating my little girls' bedroom. They are 3 and 5 years old. I am thinking at this point I want to paint the walls gray and then use a brighter pink and a yellow as the colors in the bedding/other decor. The molding/doors are white. The room gets a lot of light and has high vaulted ceilings. The girls currently have bunk beds. Here are my questions:
1) What shade of grey should I use? It would be helpful if you can give me the actual paint name from a place like Sherwin Williams
2) The room is pretty empty other than the bunk beds. How should I fill the space on the other side of the room and what should I do for decorations on the walls (there is a TON of wall space)?
Answer
1) Here is the gray that i think you should use: 0052 Pearl Gray. RGB Values are R:202, G:206, B: 197.
2) To fill in space on the other side of the room try a small reading corner so you can encourage your children to read. Buy a pink or yellow bean bag and a cute book shelf and maybe a rug for comfort. I recommmend using pottery barns product range.

What are some ideas for a teenage girl bedroom?
autumn
I'm a 15 year old girl, and I just moved. We are renting a condo and I can't paint or anything like that. My room is really small (11ft by 12ft). I have a queen size bed that takes up the majority of the room. I just ordered new bedding, and I also have two white nightstands. I want my color scheme to be white, teal, and black. I need some ideas of how to make it more cozy? It's all white right now and it feels too clean, like I can't get too comfortable in it. Thanks :)
Answer
Hi - you perhaps need some nice art or something for your walls? You could make your own art, which is quite easy.
You will need some remnants of fabric or get another pillowcase or cushion cover and use this as your fabric and then it will match in with your colour scheme. Get some patterned and plain that will go with each other. Purchase some blank artists canvases and cut the fabric with enough to cover the entire canvas and for it go around the back and just staple it at the back and hey presto you have some neat artwork. Have a look here for some idea of what I mean. Get a few canvas and 'group' them together, don't put all over your walls :) Arrange them!

Perhaps you might like a wall decal for the wall that your bed will be on? Have a look here at some styles and quotes:

Perhaps you might like something like this website sells - I love the wooden letters - perhaps you could get some spelling your name out? There are also lots of other items you might like. One little tip - don't put too much on your wall - be selective - these are just some ideas for you to make your room a lot more cosy :)

You might also like a few cushions on your bed - get them in the colours that you are doing your room - perhaps some teal and white ones - these will make your bed look more cosy ?
Anyway, hope this helps.
