i need ideas for decorating my childrens bedroom?

Q. i have 2 boys aged 3 and 2 and a little girl who is 1, the bedroom was decorated as thomas the tank engine before but kids being kids have ripped the wallpaper down so i want to paint it in colours to suit all 3, i was thinking of doing 2 walls baby pink and 2 walls baby blue but not sure now! any ideas?

A. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think it would be a good idea to choose a gender neutral color for the whole room, like "trusty tan" (# 6087).

You can also take a photo of your room & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.

What are some easy but cool ideas for decorating a bedroom?
Q. So I'm sitting here in my bedroom realizing it's the blandest thing on the planet. Does anybody have any ideas for personalizing a 16 year old girl's bedroom without it looking over crowded? Keeping in mind that I can't just up and paint it without facing the wrath of the parents.

A. Hanging a mirror will brighten your room and make it appear larger.

The best way to personalize a bedroom is to make a few of your own decorations,
photo collage of you and your friends/family, a memo board to hang above your desk, magazine collage with your interests, hobbies/sports, print and hang your favorite flowers in 5x7 frames.

Help decorating my bedroom with pictures of bridges?
Q. I've wanted to do something to make my room look better for awhile, and since I love bridges I thought it might look nice to put some pictures together to put on the wall. I was thinking of buying a wall calendar with bridges, and then somehow putting those pictures together on a board? maybe doing checkered boxes or framing them somehow?

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas or ways that I can incorporate this idea or something like this idea into my room..I like straight lines and things to be neat, so I thought just putting up random pictures around my room would look tacky. Thanks for any help. And nothing expensive!

A. Dedicate one wall to pictures. Buy black frames and do black and white photos of bridges. You could even do parts of a bridge and put each piece of the bridge in a frame until you had the entire bridge on your wall in idividual frames. Line the frames up evenly over the wall. It would make very nice lines and really be an interesting feature in the room.
