bedroom designs for girls purple image

There are 2 girls that share a large room. Both girls are very creative and artsy. They love high fashion and music...I guess you could describe them as "alternative". There are really no guidlines except that they are painting the room a deep teal (&they will not be using purple or gold) But other wise I just need some help.

What color should I paint my walls, a mint green or light blue?
Girl.
I am a 13 year old girl, and I'm remodeling my whole bedroom.
My bed spread will be a deep purple one with a bamboo design on it. I'm thinking mostly wood and wicker furniture. I'm kind of trying for a subtle woodsy outdoorsy look, so what color of my walls do you think? Blue or green? I know they have to be pale or pastel, but if you can specify a shade you would go with, go ahead!

Mint green would be a good choice, but make sure it is very light. If you have a lot of natural lighting in your room, you may also consider painting the wall opposite to the window green, against that wall will be all your bedroom decors, mirror, vanity, etc, and use a light natural color on the other walls.
