Q. They're five year old girls and share a room. They also change their mind about everything like most five year olds. (Like this week is Hello Kitty last week was Hannah Montana.) I want a classic look that is kind of interchangeable. They also disagree alot so something that is matchy but not to much alike. Any ideas?
A. I'd go with something neutral for carpeting. I'd paint the walls a solid color and do not put up a wall border. Just something else that's a pain to take down later.
I'd do something like one of the below options. Go with a bed in a bag set because it comes with the sheets, comforter, shams, etc. and you will just need to buy the pillows and window treatments and any artwork or shelving for the walls.
It will last them at LEAST through childhood, if not their teenage years if you choose something that's not too babyish.

What are good room ideas for a 14 year old girl?
Q. Im 14 years old and want to redo my room but need some ideas. I thought of teal walls a brown bed and black and white photos everywhere, but i dont know what else to decorate. I dont even know if i like that idea so if you have any other room ideas or suggestions PLEASE help! Thanks!!
A. decide if you are going to paint, if your not your going to have to work with what you've got. If you have white or cream its easy.
Choose a theme of colours, eg. my room has a hot pink feature wall and where my desk is a patch of lime green. I then have off white for the other walls with white furniture and a silver bed. So you might decide on something like Pink and black or blue and white, you have to decode what you want in your room, funky chair, obviously the bed, desk, bean bag, draws, book case whatever!
So then you have to work with the size of your room, if its small try to choose furniture that doesn't go all the way to the ground because it creates the illusion of more space. IF you have a big room don't choose small furniture, eg, don't choose a small mirror that could get lose in the wall.

My room is really big so it can use all that and not look busy or over powering.
