I have a dark pink carpet and I want to redecorate my room?

Q. I have a dark pink carpet which I am unable to change. I am a 16 year old girl and I am planning to redecorate my room however I'm not sure what to do as in colours? I was think maybe brown curtains? I'm not sure, any ideas would be much appreciated, thanks

A. I have heard it said many times from decorators, "If you can't change it - embrace it!" So, I would suggest that you find fabric (that has your same, or similar, dark pink in it) in a design/pattern that you really like. Then take colors from that to spread around your room.

A. maroon is a good choice....u can use dark orange too....painting walls with a little bit of indian designs will look good . Curtains are vry imp. make sure u select them according to the colour and design u use in ur room..use bedsheets havin those rich indian designs lyk henna designs .
