How to make a teen bedroom look like a Hawaiian themed cabana?

Q. I'm not aloud to paint my rooms so my bedroom is a pink color I want some type of comforter that Is a hot pink, orange, and brown color Where can I get that at? My furniture is brown and I need some decorations to make my bedroom Hawaiian themed. I want it to look relaxing and like a cabana. Any suggestions? or pictures that I can get ideas from? What store can I get Hawaiian themed decorations from?

A. Sea shells, starfish, bamboo, bright flowered fabrics, hibiscus flowers and tropical plants are all beachy, Hawaiian items. You might be able to find some inexpensive silk flowers to string and make a swag for over a mirror or door. Glue some shells to a picture frame or mirror and hang it. I would try to find a surfboard or a piece of plywood shaped like a boogie board and paint it. A philodendron, either silk or real for in a corner. You might even find a fake ficus tree you can put in a corner and hang some white lights on with some silk flowers. Try the links below for some inspiration

How to decorate a bedroom with green sheets and black-brown furniture (pictures included)?

Q. Greetings Yahoo! Answers.

My husband and I recently purchased a bedroom set and a gorgeous set of sheets. Unfortunately we have no idea how to decorate this room. The walls are currently a light creamy beige with white faux wood window blinds.

Can you please suggest some painting colors, techniques and other decor ideas that can transform our bedroom into a beautiful and modern/contemporary relaxing escape.

A. a rich red/orange wall accent with a nice earth tone brown will go nice on the walls to accent the furniture and beddings ... try imaging the walls in two tone colors.

My friend just move into her new house, and in one of the rooms had similar specs as your's, that's what she did and it looked great, i'm sorry I don't have pictures though...

Q. I am 13 and I am re-decorating my room and I want it Indian style. But I don't really know how . I want it to look really relaxing and I want darker colors like maroon and navy blue and a bunch of curtains and pillows and beads and things like that . A. maroon is a good choice....u can use dark orange too....painting walls with a little bit of indian designs will look good . Curtains are vry imp. make sure u select them according to the colour and design u use in ur room..use bedsheets havin those rich indian designs lyk henna designs .
