Q. I know that I want this pendleton blanket on my bed, I am thinking of having a yellow (like a butter or as the company store calls it "sunshine") duvet cover.
Here is the link to the pendleton website:

I'm having trouble deciding what color duvet cover to get to go with this blanket. I don't think I want a white one as I've had a white one for the last 4 years and I'm sick of it.
Please let me know if you have any ideas as to what colors I should be thinking about for the rest of my room as well. I really want this blanket to set the tone of the room. I have a wooden dresser that I want to paint and I'm not sure what color to choose for that as well...I don't want to get carried away with too many busy and bright colors!

A. I hope I saw the right blanket ( 2 bear silhouettes & primitive drawings of tee-pees?)
It's beautiful; but why do you want to cover it with a duvet cover? It 's beautiful all by itself!
Use the colors in the strips of the blanket as a source for the rest of the room. Paint the dresser green. But don't stop there. Change out the drawer pulls. to carry the outdoorsy theme. This site will privide you with an excellent selection

I'm coming to the conclusion that you are an outdoor woman. The pendleton blanket is very masculine. Soften the totasl look by adding a few toss pillows in a varitety of colors made with fake fur, browns, greens.
Paint your walls a soft yellow shade . The site I provided carries a wide selection of home decor; lamps, rugs, etc. cruise around a little for inspiration and ideas.

A. The idea of a Paris themed bedroom is actually more popular in the USA than it is in France, so you probably will be better off looking at websites in English to inspire you.
There are hundreds of suggestions on these websites, so that you can pick and choose what appeals to you and that would fit in with what you already have.

If you do not want pink but want a strong colour why don't you go for blue. Traditional French toile de Jouy patterns are often blue. The pink to avoid is Barbie pink, but old rose is also used for Jouy patterns and it is more a kind of wine red.

So if you look at this link you'll see these really cool pull out drawers, and then if you look at the description you'll see that they're super tiny! I thought they had been bigger when I first saw them.
I was thinking of getting hanging drawers like this in my bedroom and putting up like 3 horizontally one on top of the other. I wanted to keep clothing in them, so obviously they need to be a lot bigger. If you can find hanging drawers like these I'll give you TEN POINTS. 10 POINTS!
I'll also take ideas on places that might sell something cool like this. Im not really in the know about where to buy cool funky furniture. THANKS EVERYONE!(:

A. Sorry, they look pretty specialised.
You can do some shelves with pull out metal containers instead...? Or if you want to make life easy for yourself use lockers or something instead, widely available, even Ikea sells them.
As for the chalkboard bit, you can buy spray cans of chalkboard paint and do it yourself. Some people do amazing stuff with a basic set of drawers and chalkboard paint, check out google images link below. You might be able to do something for yourself that's even better than the UO drawers.
I assume you are in the USA so have put an extra link to an american site with neat furniture. Presumably you know the big sites like pottery barn, overstock.com etc. already.
