I'm moving to Arizona and I'm getting my own room. So no more sharing a room with my brother or step- sister. I'll have a light brown carpet but that isn't my choice. I am a teenager. I like modern looks but I also like oriental themes. And if this helps any, I wanna be a designer when I grow up. I don't want anything to "grown-up" but I also don't want anything too "kiddish". My fave color is black... but my rents' won't let me paint my walls that color, and it won't look good with brown carpet. I also like blue, purple, and pink in SOME conditions. I also love splashes of white here and there. Any ideas? (I know I'm picky, sorry :-) )

If you like oriental themes and have a lt brown carpet, then how about creamy off whiteot pale green walls or oriental style wall paper with greens, blacks and bamboo designs. With solid lite colored walls you can add oriental accents to the walls or furniture and nothing will clash and you may be able to get some black designs in there too
