Tropical bedroom ideas?

I'm redecorating my bedroom, finally, and I'm looking for something more tropical. I would love for ideas for paint, accessories, bedding, anything. I'm mid-twenties, so I don't want something that would make my bedroom look like a teenage girls room. I have two smaller alcoves in my bedroom as well, and if you have any ideas for those as well that would be great! I would like something that would instantly feel like you just walked into the state of Hawaii! ;)

I think the picture below looks nice and not too 'over the top'. They have used a large tropical themed wall decal :) And... the idea of the curtain in front makes it look as though you can actually see that view out of a window - great idea :)

Things to add to my bedroom?

Im in the middle of completely re-doing my bedroom (except for painting). I've rearranged everything the way I've wanted it for awhile, putting magazine articles/pics up etc. But what are some things that I can add to my room to make it more interesting? Like cool lamps or mirrors or something.. or craft work.. what are some cool ideas?

Oh and Im a teenager.. who is a girl.. and I like music (all elements of rock - alternative/indie/metal/progressive etc), I like vintage stuff.. and I think the oriental style is pretty cool.. so yeah what are some things i can add?
