How to decorate a teenage girl's bedroom?

I want the theme to be "love" but I want to limit the pink because I ain't that girly. Right now, I am saving money to buy paint, but for now the walls are white. My bedspread is plain brown, i have one white dresser, and two brown desks in my room. I want to paint my room a deep red and pink border. I want to know some cheap ways to fix the theme, like i made a tissue paper flower, hung it on my wall, then cut out constuction letters and wrote in big letters "love". Any other ideas? REALLY IMPORTANT. What color curtains/bedspread/doilies should I have? And I have a lamp, what should I draw on it, just hearts? and Any other cheap things I can use/make to enhance the theme? Please and Thank you.

Good Room Ideas For Teenage Girls?

Okay...So we are moving and I have a pretty big room...Its un-finished so I can do what ever I want with it..

You have cute theme ideas!(: I'm also in the middle of re-doing my room. I'm painting the walls white and red and using turquoise as the accent color. (: just one idea. for you. Gummy bears are so cute! i think you should definitely incorporate that in there someway. i was thinking of getting one of those huge gummy bear soap container things. haha. i love the colors Purple and Green together. Or, another really cool idea that i saw was a greay, orange, and blue room. It's VERY creative and different, but as long as you do it right, it could turn out GREAT! Kinda like this one!

How to be a 50's teenage girl?

Im 14 and a girl and i am SOOO in love with the 50's every single thing about it, to the black and white small tvs to the sock hops to the coca cola glass bottles and to the fridges to the old cars with wings and the clothes and hairstyles and EVERYTHING! I seriously wish i was born in the 50's!

The only problem is im korean and i don't see alot of pictures of asians in the 50's so im not exactly sure how good it would look on me. But
1.) How do i get anything 50's? I don't think we have lots of antique shops where i live, and most everything on the internet is too expensive,
2.) do you think they would have patterns for 50's dresses in stores still?
3.) what about any good 50's music besides elvis?
4.) how to make my room seem like im in the 50's
5.) what were some things teen girls did in the 50's for free time?

Any ideas on a teenage girls bedroom and bathroom?!?!?!??

OK so im 13 and im getting a bigger bedroom and my own bathroom and i was wondering what are some ideas on decorating my bedroom and bathroom. My favorite colors are pink, purple, and blue so you can say im a preppy girl i also love animal prints and wild colors im going into high school soon and i love having friends over so i want my room to be a place where i can have fun with my friends and still be a nice sleeping place. And in my bathroom anything that has to do with girls stuff. Anything you want to put as ideas put it it will be a lot of help im in desperate need of help.

I would say pink, purple, and blue would all go well together, but use animal prints sparingly (because they are easily overdone and can clash very easily).

Normally sites like that post where you can find the pieces in the picture, but it's just a blog for design ideas. Just go to the site: http://homeklondike.com/contact/
Type in your info and under 'message': ask them if they have any information about the wallpaper you are interested in, provide them with the direct link to the post you found this in. Not the picture you gave us, that's just a jpeg. They need the link so they can see what date it was posted and what it's under for them to help you.

Not sure how old you are, but purple looks good with lots of colors. I like it with lime or celery green, aqua or light blue. It also works with gold or yellow and gray. Well first, paint it whatever color you want. Then find a bed set that goes with the color on your wall. Maybe add a cute fluffy rug. Add a couple of posters/paintings on your wall (make sure it matches the color). Add some accessories here and there. Make sure it fits your personality!

I can't seem to get my room to look more grown-up! It still looks like a child's room and i have no idea how to make it look more mature...... if you have any ideas or tips i would really appreciate it! I love things with lots of color too! Thanks!

I have the same problem. I am Trying to make mine look less childish too. I went through ALL my stuff and asked my self if it was too childish or if it was okay to keep in my room. Then I looked up some pictures online of cool teenage bedrooms and stuff like that. Then I saved my money and bought the things I wanted for my room. I would suggest adding colorful fake flowers and colorful bedding. Hope I helped.
