I am trying to get ideas on decorating a house. Where can I get pictures of themes hotel rooms?

Q. I am not sure what type of theme, but I really like contempory/modern and romantic silks for a bedroom.

A. What I did and do, is go to an excellent book store such as Barnes and Noble and thumb through some mags in their amazing Home and Garden selectionOf those that I bought, .I would rip out the pix that I liked and started my own ideas folder.I would take it with me whenever I went shopping or in my case, gave to my friend who is a decorator, to see if she could locate the color, item, etc.

Italian Mags are expensive but that is where you will find super modern lines in furniture.Romantic silks for the bedroom can cost you. However, what you need is a fabric showroom. You can always ask for free samples from the major houses.Sometimes you have to be a decorator.Ask some of your friends and your friends friends.I bet you will be in touch with a decorator that SOMEONE you know, knows!

I believe in hands on , but my ideas have all come from Magazines. You may check a really large library for issues like ARChitectural Digest, House and Garden, etc. that you could possibly look through and then back order if you want the original.I love House and Gardens.I always find things I like.
Also do not be afraid to take 1 idea from 1 picture to combine with another picture.I hope you are helped!
Hotel Rooms? Hmmm...
Again, someone in the interior design business might be able to help you to obtain something like this. Good luck to you!

What are some good decorating tips for bedrooms?
Q. Any tip and tricks for making it look cozy but also bigger! I have recently moved and now my bedroom is mostly white and yellow with beech colored furniture : )

A. You could probably warm it up best by adding some brown, sage or cinnamon shades to your yellow and white scheme. You can do this easily with a few pillows, a small area rug, draperies or a throw.

What would be some good magazines for decorating a girl's bedroom?
Q. I want to redecorate my bedroom but i can't seem to think what i want it to be like. What would be some good magazines that would give me ideas and hints about what i can make it like.
{I'd want to make it kinda girly-ish, if that sorta helps =D}

A. Domino Magazine is a good one:
http://www.dominomag.com/

Better Homes & Gardens:
http://www.bhg.com/decorating/

BH&G also has many "special interest" magazines that you can find on the newsstands with titles like "Beautiful Bedrooms," "Cottage Style," "Creative Home" and so forth. You should be able to find something from them.

Also "Country Living," "Cottage Living," "Home," "InStyle Home," "Elle Decor," "Budget Decorating," "Martha Stewart Living," etc.
