I want to decorate my room oriental but I need a color scheme that will make my room look bigger.?

Q. I have a small room and don't want dark colors but I don't want boring colors either. I would like my room to be colorful but still have that oriental feel. And I'm also looking for a oriental bedspread any links? Any ideas? Thanks.

A. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. I think a wall color like "silver gray" (# 0049) would be perfect, and then add color with your bedding and artwork.

A. Oriental would be beautiful...actually, when i get my own apartment when im older, im going to do part of it in an oriental style....exotic hanging lanterns, big candles, incense sticks...everything like that...hope this helps

I want to redecorate my room with a little japanese//asian theme?

Q. I want to redecorate my bedroom. I have ideas but I would like more.
I want to paint it a pale almost white pink with a very light tan trim. I want some kind of Japanese design on the walls in like black maybe a design or just words in Japanese - but how would I get stencils for the characters?

I want to know where to get good furniture, and fabrics like couch covers, comforters and sheets and pillows and like a bookshelf, desk, and bedframe. I'm thinking a bed with a canopy and a metal bed frame, an old fashioned rolltop desk and a nice bookshelf but I don't know where to get them.

I need a lot of storage bins, but cute ones to organize my closet, desk, and top of my bookshelf and to keep all of TH extra junk I have.

I also need to know where to buy cute japanese//asian items. Clocks, stationary and pens, polishes, thing like that. Probably online.

Also how much money would I need to fully redecorate? The amount isn't an issue, I just only have $70 (im 17) right now an want to have an estimate as to how much I should save before I start spending.
