A. Log furniture can do much to add a woodsy log cabin feeling. Cedar and aspen are the most beautiful types of wood as far as I'm concerned, and if you have logs with character they can really add a rustic feel. Red cedar is also very pretty, and adds a cedar scent to the cabin. As for decorating ideas, a log quilt rack adds a nice touch totjere a cabin bedroom, as well as a source of warmth in the snowy north.
There is some pretty neat furniture out there that features canoes, and would look nice in a cabin-type setting. Leather furniture also looks nice in rustic decor, as does knick-knacks and furnishings built around an animal theme. Some popular themes would be bears, moose, deer, or trout.

How to decorate my sons bedroom in a military theme?
Q. I need some ideas on decorating my 6 year old sons room in a military theme. I want it to look nice and put together and not tacky. He already has a quilt that is cameo with tanks and airplanes on it. He also has 2 model airplanes hanging from ceiling. Any ideas?
A. Put a few posters up that says "Army" or "Military". Don't put up too many though if you want to keep it clean

How can I create a super girl bedroom theme for my daughter?
Q. Please help. I am decorating my 6 year old daughters bedroom, the theme is supergirl. ( she LOVES vsuperheros) I can't find any ideas on how to create this room. I don't want to just get the bedding and curtains and wall paper. I'd like something creative. I've painted her room pink so far. Any ideas would be great.
