Q. So I'm sitting here in my bedroom realizing it's the blandest thing on the planet. Does anybody have any ideas for personalizing a 16 year old girl's bedroom without it looking over crowded? Keeping in mind that I can't just up and paint it without facing the wrath of the parents.

I want to decorate my daughters bedroom. Any ideas on how to tie horses into it without her outgrowing to quik
Q. We just moved and I wanted to make my daughter's room more personal. She loves horses and the color blue. I've thought about those murals that you can put up but her room is very small and I am not very creative. I really need HELP with this one. I don't want her to outgrow it by say next year or two. I want the room to grow with her..............any ideas ?
A. I don't think she'll out grow horses. Try renting a projector from your local library. If you find a picture you like you can use the projector to project it on the wall to trace it. Paint it as usual. If you want it to grow with her, make sure you leave other things in her room removeable or changeable.
I would find some intresting ribbons(the reward kinds to tack to the walls, blue comforter.. and things of that nature. You can always work around the horse on the wall.
Another thing you could try is doing the horse with different colored flowers and leaving the walls a neutral color. Then you can change the colors of other things in her room ie cutains bed spreads, as she grows.

What are some good ideas for a boy's and girl's crib bedding set?
Q. I have a boy who's 18 months and a girl who's 3 months. They will be sharing a room, and I wanted to decorate their rooms as a set. For instance, my husband and I thought of Peter Pan & Tinkerbell, Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Dora & Diego, Princess & Prince, or Princess & Knights/Dragons. I'm still undecided and would like some suggestions. Let me know your opinions, and if you can think of any more boy & girl bedroom sets please let me know. Thank you!
